Last year, I welcome a winter more cold than annual. In the cold air, everyone in Tuy Hoa city were immersing a important festival of year. The festival which the members in their family can gather together. It is Christmas day and it have another name is Noel
A special enjoyable thing for me in the Christmas season that year. It is a experience that I have never forgot in my life. In that night, Christmas night, I was alone in my house because my parents and brother must gone to my uncle to visit him. Sit in front of my dest, I looked out the window, and I can see everything in the street which pass across my house. In this moment, I felt time pass very slowly. But that thing helped me felt the life follow a other way.
Children were playing together and shout very loud. Student rather together in order to went out and went to the church in the center of city. They can listen the music, see the drama about Christ and mixed in the Christmas air here. Their parents were in the house in order to solve their work or watch the TV. With they, Christmas night is the same the ordinary other night. I felt as the would seem members in family lack to take interest together. Everybody were busying with their work in modern society. They must spend many time to make money in a fiercely competitive environment.
After that night, I decided change myself. I spend more time than for my family and friends.
Although in that christmas night, I didn’t went out my family or friends, but I will remember it forever. Now with me, each day is a special day.

(Nếu chị viết theo văn phong tiếng Anh, câu này NÊN viết theo kiểu là: To me, the most special and enjoyable event last year was the Xmas season.)

But that thing helped me felt the life follow a other way -> ,which made me feel life is happening in a different way.
E là sửa như trên hơi rời rạc,em đọc hơi mất công, thôi thì chị sửa thẳng vào bài của em luôn, rồi em đọc nguyên cái bài sửa và so sánh nhé. Hi vọng nếu (theo như anh Tú nói) em luôn sẵn sàng tiếp thu góp ý của người khác với một tinh thần học hỏi, thì mong là em sẽ không buồn vì chị sửa nhiều như vậy, hì hì :">

ReplyDeleteTo me, the most special and enjoyable event last year was the Christmas season and it was an experience that I would never forget in my life. On that Christmas eve, I was home alone because my parents and my older brother went to visit my uncle. Siting in front of the desk, I looked out the window, and I could see everything in the street passing by my house. In that very moment, I had a feeling of time flowing slowly, which made me feel that life was going on in a different way.
The children were playing together and shouting very loudly. Students preferred to hang out together and go to the church located in the city center where they could listen to the music, watch the drama about Jesus Christ and also be involved in the Christmas atmosphere. Meanwhile, most of their parents were in the house to do their work or watch TV. For them, Christmas night was just the same as any other ordinary nights. I felt like the members in the UNRELIGIOUS families didn’t enjoy the interesting holiday together. Some of them were busy with their work in this modern society. They got to spend much more time working on their objectives in such a fiercely competitive environment.
After that night, I decided to change myself about one thing which was I would spend more time on my family and friends.
Although I didn’t go out with my family or friends on that very night, I will remember it forever. Now with me, each day is a special day.

Tại vì "which" để bổ nghĩa cho từ đứng trực tiếp ngay sau đó, mà during which thì là during cái gì? Theo mình thì mình đề xuất "during this time" hay "during Xmas days".
ReplyDelete"... I was home alone...": dịch ra là tôi là nhà (gia đình) 1 mình à bạn? thiếu prep kìa..... thực ra cả câu này nên dùng về trên là past simple, nhưng sau because thì dùng past perfect là hay hơn mà đúng cái periods of time hơn!

looked out là watch out = coi chừng -----> look through là đúng hơn hoặc nếu bạn dùng look out thì phải có of----> look out of the window, nếu không câu của bạn sẽ là coi chừng cái cửa sổ :)).

hang out: nghĩa tiếng việt là chó lè lưỡi (khi trời nóng), ở, cư ngụ (ở đâu), hay bày ra ngoài, treo ra ngoài :)), bạn dùng từ 'hang out' có nghĩa nào trong 3 nghĩa này?
----> Notes: phrasal verbs mình thấy hay nhưng mỗi lần dùng thường có rủi ro ----> hạn chế:X ^^

ReplyDelete"I was home alone" ý là tôi ở nhà 1 mình đó bạn, người ta dùng câu này phổ biến lắm mà bạn, từ điển cũng có ví dụ mà, bạn xem nhé:

sitting là lỗi đánh máy thôi mà, ai học tiếng Anh nhìn cũng biết là nhầm mà :)
Còn look out the window vs. look out of the window như bạn nói thì cái nào cũng đúng cả, of is optional :) Chắc bạn chưa nghe bài hát "Look out the window", right?
Còn trong cụm "in that very moment", từ very được dùng để nhấn mạnh ngay chính cái khoảnh khắc đó.
Then, just something FYI!
Một điều nữa, thật ra việc dùng phrasal verbs nếu dùng quen rồi thì cũng không phải lo lắng về "rủi ro" hay gì lắm :D
